another one for the webpage.... as seen from Muskoseepi park. We do have a beautiful location.... hard to believe this in the middle of a city of over 50,000. #1394952

How beautifully green and lush this is Joan. Are you fully booked for the summer? #9546355

Green, lush and lovely. I would never have guess a city of that size was nearby.

Thanks Dale, Carla and Susan. It really is an extremely pretty campground. Randy has worked long and hard on the grounds, (it had been severely neglected for years). We are also getting all the infrastructure up to date, and the result of all the hard work is really paying off. We are running at 96 to 100% capacity for the last month(despite the horrible weather we are having this summer. Susan, we are adjacent to the highway, however, with all the hills and trees, it is actually reasonably peaceful here, for everyone but the Campground Managers that is!!!! #9547786

Wow that really is hard to believe. By this picture I would have thought this to be way out in the country. It's all so green. By the way how did you get into being campground managers? Did you set out to do it, or did it just come along? :~) #9547952

Looks like a fantastic place. I have a cousin that lives in your neck of the woods. Some day, I'll make the 22 hour drive to come see him. I'll be sure to stop in. #9550434

Oh wow! That's a beautiful campground. I can't believe its in the middle of a city. It looks so peaceful. I really love the colors you've captured here. #9552382

I really like the colors and tones in this one. I also like the way the water flows in front of the grass, reminds me of the bottom of a heart! #9553122

Looks like a great place to set up camp Joan...you did a good job of making the place seem isolated, even though it is close to a highway. #9553135

OK Joan, I am thinking you haven't had nearly a month of 95-102F temperatures like us! Our grass is wilting fast and as we are on well-water with limited flow we can't use sprinklers.
And like the others, I wish I was up there too. Very nice indeed.

Thanks everyone. As I listen to the traffic on the highway, from this campground, I wish it were more remote. However, its hugest selling point (other than the obvious fact that it is very pretty, and mature) is location, location, location. Shopping, theatre, casino, walking trails, swimming pools, canoeing, shopping, etc all within easy walking distance.

Aimee... It was a total accident. We were in Texas, and my Sister-in-law emailed saying there was a camp job available. My Dad had just died, and we had zero intentions of returning to GP. I kinda wondered why she thought I would want a job cooking in an Oil rig camp, since I have always been in accounting. However, she called us and said that it was the Rotary Campground. She then phoned the person who placed the ad, and he phoned us, and hired us sight unseen. He really wanted someone with accounting and management skills. The fact that my Dad had been a 40 odd year member of that particular Rotary club also helped! And so, here we are #9556728
