Thank you, Josie. I peeked at your gallery and recognized the pier...I was raised and went to college in Western Michigan! Love your photos. #9501706Josie Detmers July 02, 2011

what I like most of this photo is the story. You can actually see the wheels turning in his head as he approaches the crab. #9508578Chris Ebben July 05, 2011
And the crab saying "go on, have a go!" A well timed, full framed image^..^= #9508894Phyllis A. Houghton July 05, 2011
Make duplicates of this one. It is a treasure. #9508995Irene Colling July 05, 2011
Your composition is text book perfect. The boy lies on the one third line, the background wave cuts across the photo just right and the crab is placed perfectly to counter balance the vertical line of the boy.An exceptional story telling image.
Excellent work Laura. #9509582

Thank you Dale, Chris, Phyllis, and Irene! Your kind words mean so much. #9510590Diane Underwood July 06, 2011
I agree with all the above.. My first thought was , "who is the most scared , the crab or the boy hahahha?" Love the expression on the boy. Great job. #9512251Lydia Lee July 06, 2011
Well deserved EP, Laura. This piece is priceless! In OTB will you tell me how you did the frame? #9512583Patricia White July 07, 2011
By any chance do you know the outcome of this encounter? The look on his face is priceless. #9513771Laura Greene July 10, 2011
