When I was six years old...Pop and Mom gave me a miniature toy terrier which Mom named 'Midge'...short for 'Midget'. Midge was a delightful part of my childhood and teen years, Carolyn!!!

Charlotte and Princess are sooooooooo CUTE!!. Charlotte resembles 'Midge' and Princess resembles one of Midge's puppies!!!

I can see how loved these two sweeties are, My Dear Friend!!<:)) #9472895

I have to tell this little story!!

Charlotte seems to have a real liking for when I arrive at our daughters place and she is all over me like a rash!! :) A little over a week after Princess was born, we were visiting with other family members and Charlotte was in the family room along with Princess and many people. Princess didn't have her eyes open at this stage and she was taking a wander around the room, as small puppies do.

Charlotte decided it was far to dangerous for her newborn to be wandering among all the feet of us humans! A very wise thought on Charlotte's part!! She proceeded to pick her up in her mouth, and carried her across the to the other side of the room where I was sitting on the lounge chair. She then place Princess in the palm of my right hand! With that, she walked around to my left side and hopped up beside me settling down safe in the knowledge that Grandpa will look after my baby and I can be close to him too!!

This little act touched everyone present!!

A beautiful family picture. Phil how privileged you must have felt to be accepted into their family. Animals know who are good people. Good work=^..^= #9480050
