Century Rose
Uploaded: June 05, 2011
My Mother-In-Law gave us a clipping of a rose bush that she has growing from a clipping that she had taken from her mothers garden nearly a century ago. Surprisingly, it's doing very well, and I love the history.

I love the idea of seeing and smelling a rose that has passed thru so many generations...my imagination goes amok wondering how many other family eyes and noses have enjoyed the same sight and smell. :) Nice to be part of that chain. A wonderful and beautiful capture, Ms. J, of a very special rose! #9445307Leslie McLain June 05, 2011
