Assassin on Purple Trumpet

Uploaded: March 29, 2011

Description

Taken yesterday on my purple trumpet vine. I love to shoot flowers and feel it is an added bonus if I can get a flower shot with a small visitor. I actually look for bugs when I shoot.

Thanks ladies. That isn't a spider, it is a bug called an assassin bug. They are "good" bugs - they eat some of the bad bugs. I have read that they will bite, but I have never seen one even act like it might and I have taken hundreds of pictures of them. #9324085

Marsha, this is an outstanding shot. It is just beautiful. The bug is a bonus. Have a great day, Bill #9325925

It sure was an added bonus. I often don't see the bugs until I download the pictures to the computer & get a nice surprise. Lovely colours in this one, good work=^..^= #9828139
