Description

This little fellow was perched on a wall overlooking a little river at the park where I eat my lunch most days.

I take all my pictures in Camera Raw. This picture lent itself so well to a little post-process tweaking because with the bird being so white (with no shadows), I could increase the shadow feature a bit, which finished off blacking out the background without changing the bird a tall. I used an aperture of F6.3, and a fast shutter speed of 1/1600. I hope you like it.

The whites are so pure, the color beautiful, the focus spot on, the contrasts sharp and vivid.
