To create this hypnotic effect, I simply selected Distort-Twirl (in Photoshop Elements) and moved the slider to +417. I previewed the effects to determine the most pleasing (at least to my tastes) amount of twirl. Then I boosted the color saturation a bit and altered the hue slightly to give better contrast with the colors. #1355075
