Description

Golden Memories

They say memories are golden, well, maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.
A million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place no one else can fill.
If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane.
I'd walk the path to Heaven and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us back one by one, the chain will link again.

RIP - Max Feb.19th, 2011

Well Julie, we knew that it was time for Max to be with the rest of your cat family and they are all waiting for you and Dave, but please don't hurry...I hope they see Flash there! My best to you and Dave and your journey of memories! #9252465

"Those we hold in our arms for alittle while, we hold in our hearts forever."

Joannie, Max is surely running free of pain up there with your Flash and our Susie, Kelly, Skip, Blackie and Rufus.

Thanks all for the kind words. #9252619

DEar Julie, I feel like I knew Max from seeing all the pictures of him over the years. It is hard to lose our furry kids, I did not have pets until I met kelly and he came with a cat and dog. I count my blessings every day I get to spend with our little cat, she is probably about 12 years old...I know when her time comes it will be verty sad . Just know you now have a little guardian angel looking out for you ... #9258799

After you commented on my image today, I visited your gallery and came across your photo of Max. You posted a beautiful tribute...we lost our 14 year old yellow lab two years ago; it's like losing a family member. Sounds like you have great memories of your pet! #9311807

So sorry to hear your sad news. I feel for you, as I have been through this many times myself. Max looks just like my Kody (the Korat) who is nearly 18yo. Try to keep smiling & remembering the happy times=^..^= #9441123
