The tree

Uploaded: January 20, 2011

Description

This tree was on the safari at Animal Kingdom. I loved that it looks more like something out of an Alfred Hitchcock film than a Disney attraction. The day was gloomy and overcast which played up the look of the tree, and the black birds helped as well. Shot with my p&s and applied a polarizing filter in VP in post production.

A wonderful capture. It does look extremely eerie, especially because it appears to me that the blackbirds might be vultures! #1346081

I have been trying to figure out what those birds were. I guess I wasn't paying very close attention to our guide. ;-) Thanks so much for your comment Michelle! I might try a b&w version of this as well. #9184212
