Beautiful shot. I'm sure the shadows also help to keep in it "in ice" as well. #9171186

Into my favorites as I love waterfall scenes and this one is so unique in that winter has frozen the running water completely. Its an astonishing look, so beautiful and eerie at the same time. I love the ice formations. The wet rock is really gorgeous and then the open water of the pool. I know how slippery this must get so caution is best heeded when trying to get close to photograph. You came away safe and with a stunning work of beauty my friend. #9171440

Such a rugged area - all the more beautiful with lacing of the icy stalagmites. I always enjoy your comps, Marty - and this one, with the gentle c curve of the water's edge is wonderful...relieves the "verticalness" of the other elements beautifully...I have much to learn! You provide some good teaching, my friend! :) #9257508
