The Grand Tetons Reflections
Uploaded: January 05, 2011
This was my 2nd visit to The Tetons and it is for sure one of my favorite National Parks.
Manual hand-held F/8 1.80sec +2.7step 18mm CWAverage Polarizer no effects(that is by choice).Sharppening done in camera and cropped because of vigneting.I wished at times during my trip I had a full frame camera while photographing landscapes,I could have have 18mm as 18mm lens.
Have a great day,everyone.

During my Gypsy Adventure one of the leggs lock of my tripod broke and it wasn't fixed until I got to Montana. Also in Denver I discovered that the sensor of my D300 had many spots..It would take 7 days to clean it.Cleaned myself, but I had one bad spot and it shows in most of my pictures.I limited my F stop to less than F11.I increased de sharppening within my camera and used the VR of my 18-200 lens.Aimee S. It sounds like you had your share of challenges, but this is really beautiful, Maria!! #9143928frank w. degenhardt January 05, 2011
It would be so nice to have the new and updated camera and lenses, but money is a factor. I think for all the troubles that you had, you got some beautiful pictures none the less. That saids alot about your skills. As for the photoshop I to am very limited in knowledge. I do use the topaz alot and for staightening nothing is more easy to do that with than picasa 3. That one is a free download. It also has some other feautres that I think you would enjoy.Tammy M. Anderson January 05, 2011
You know I love the basics too. Great work here, Maria. Perfect light, clarity, comp. and colors. It shows you really know how to use your camera. Well done. #9144270Douglas Pignet January 05, 2011

Love how the clouds float down over the diagonal landscape you captured, Maria, and the turning reflection is a gorgeous addition. BTW, love it at 27mm! Anyone who can clean her sensor in the field, is likely someone who can make magic with the tools she has. #9156744Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
