Description

Arches National Park, UT
Many TV shows and Hollywood movies were made in and around Moab, Utah. This scene and many around it were in many John Wayne movies, hence the title. The early morning light was just waking up the beauty.

Its been so many years since I was though Utah and still can remember the beauty of sights like this. It is unique and one of our nations most beauiful land. It is true that in so many movies these rock formations and the color of the red are seen so often. Love the title, what a place for a western movie. Love the play of light and shadow, the beauty of the formatoins and the colors all against that gorgeous sky. A work of beauty my friend. #1335951

You are right Marty, Hollywood is in California, but he state of Utah probably has as many or more movies made there. I am sure the state can take credit for the most movies made within their borders. This is a beautiful early morning image. Well done and presented. #9105788
