First of all, congratulations! Maci's absolutely beautiful...second of all - keep a large supply of dog food handy - 80 pounds at 6 months??? Wowza - she's gonna be a big one, Dianna! Is she a harlequin? Love the bi-colored eyes - quite a unique beauty, she is...wonderful portrait, my friend - she's going to give you many years of love and devotion, I can tell! #9020855

Her color is called "Fawnequin". It is a registerable color but unacceptable for show. She eats 6/7 cups of food per day. Danes aren't as active as some dogs so they really don't eat as much as people would think. Her mom weighed 150 and Dad 190 (xlarge for danes) but I don't think she's going to be as big. We'll see. Thank you! #9021077

She is beautiful! My cousin has TWO Great Danes & they are the best dogs! They are so good with children, too! #9026760

Maci loves the grandchildren. That's one of the reasons I love danes is that they are so good with kids. Gentle Giants. Maci is my third dane. They have all been kind, gentle, easy dogs. They don't require a great deal of activity like a lab and some of the other dogs do. They are just easy to care for. Minimal hair as they don't seem to shed much and their hair is so short you don't notice it much. #9027777

What a beautiful big baby you have, Dianna. And what amazing eyes. Although I've never had a Dane, I know what you mean about the temperament. I've had boxers in the past, who always look so imposing, but who are extraordinarily gentle and so good with children. #9027856
