Now when I first saw the thumbnail Kate, I thought frost surely not it's only November - I can't work out how the wonderful focus ? #1324440

It's not frost just the wonderful backlighting that day. We were walking around some local gardens at Marks Hall that are open to the public. I used my 105mm Nikon macro lens which is what I call my "pucker" lens. Just looked up that it was on f5 at 1/1600. Had the ISO down to 100 that day as there was plenty of light as you can see. Must have been standing quite a way back from it I reckon with that lens. I got a 10 for this at my club comp the other day so I am now only half a point behind Geoff!!! #9017126

Thanks for the info - good luck with this I really do like it. "Pucker" hee hee I remember hearing Jamie Oliver use this fantastic word it says so much !! Hmmm tricky do I shout for Geoff with his Nikon D90 or fellow BP member Kate haa haa - you will do it no trouble Kate. #9017153
