Good morning, Maria. Beautiful low light capture. Glad you were brave enough to get a few shots. Can see why you wanted to get back since you were alone. Fabulous composition and color. #1322671

Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments...Night photography is very exciting and I wish I could do more of it...
It was spooky and uneasy because it was very dark and nobody was there except me and I was afraid to miss the bus,but I also new they wouldn't have left me there all night, they new I was there..
It was a beautiful starry night and wonderful lighting after you get use of the darkness...It was awesome I had the chance to do it and to capture some images...
Settings:Manual tripod,F/4.5 69.7 sec +0.3 step at 18mm CWAverage and cable release...I had to adjust levels, the original image was dark, when the levels were adjusted the image came to life..
Thanks for your encouragment and good words..I appreciate each comment very much.. #9006848

Oh, how magnificent, Mia. Unless you are stuck in a slot canyon after a rainfall, there's not much to fear in The Sanctuary. Yeah, right... you know better. Thanks so much, my friend. We just got back. Yours is the 3rd gallery I'm trying to catch up on, and what a treat to start. A wonderful view of the canyon, and unique because usually everyone is heading to their cozy cottage, and only the dedicated photographer and local lunatics are still up there then. You know, of course, that The Virgin would have brought you home and one of the friendly mule deer would have carried your gear. Maybe next time we could schedule together. The shuttle buses only run on the weekends in Novemeber, so we'd have the safety of the rental to carry us home. Can't wait to see the rest of what I've missed. #9028485
