Ilana, I don't think you've taken a bad shot in your life. Are you super-photog woman, or what? I encourage other viewers to enlarge this shot before commenting. The thumbnail does not do it justice. Nice comp, as usual, Ilana.

Hi Piper,
You got me blushing...
You don't know how many photos I delete
till I choose the right one.
Anyway, thanks for the encouregment! #3615

It is not uncommon to delete or sort photographs, Ilana.

I must admit that I am liking your photos more since you've invested in a digital camera. The physical quality of the images is much higher.

This is a wonderful photo, like Piper says.

Cheers,

Hi Glenn
I bought the Nikon digital camera but I
still use my SLR canon camera because I'm used to it.
I think that my problem with my photos is my scanner: HP Scanjet 3400C.
Maybe it's too weak for my needs?
If so, can you recommend any other scanner? Thanks Ilana #3659

Fine framing, Ilana. The height of the door emphasizes the smallness of the boy.
You might consider a film scanner, not only for the film work you do now, but for all you've done in the past. Like cameras, though, good ones are expensive. #4738

Hi again, Ilana. When Doug commented on this photo, I received an e-mail notification of the message. I'm going to comment again because I notice some things I obviously didn't see the first time I looked at this. Still love this photo, but I wonder if you could've changed your angle on this shot--both by moving to the left a bit and getting down on the child's level. I think including more or all of the door would also enhance the composition. The textures and colors are terrific in this shot. Cheers #4743
