Pot'O Gold Arch

Description

Shot it this morning in the Alabama Hills

When I poked my head out of the tent just before dawn this morning the cloudy sky had one of those "this is going to suck today" kind of skies but I went out and shot anyway. So, glad I wasn't watching the rainbow while having a latte with a saugage biscuit in the town of Lone Pine. Last rainbow I saw, I was delivering tri tip to a friend's BBQ. www.SteveSieren.Wordrpess.com

Steve, I really like the way you've used the rainbow to emphasize the arch. The textures in the rock, the way the arch bends counter to the rainbow, and the dim, but discerible background features in the field of light, really make this an interesting and beautiful image. Congratulations. #1327344
