Description


This is one of those "lucky" captures. I saw the eagle approaching out of the corner of my eye. I barely had time to swing up the camera to capture this image. Other than cropping off the left side (empty space), this is full frame. In case you are wondering, the eagle is carrying a freshly killed mallard duck back to the nest for the eaglet to feed on.
