Hi, Pal. (Do you go by Pal or Anupam?) Did you add the moon later with a double exposure or Photoshop? I'm wondering how to this kind of shot with a short enough exposure for the moon to stay round and formed. If there was enough traffic for you to get good light trails in a short exposure, wouldn't there be a glow around the lights? I'm trying to learn to analyze these things, to understand how they're done. Hope you can shed some "light," at it were. This is a great photo. Simple and uncluttered--the subject is clear, and the chosen perspective is pleasing to the eye. Very nice. #2229Anupam Pal December 05, 2001
No I did not add the moon later with PS. The trick is you can only take this image couple of days before full moon when the moon is nearly full but rises just after sunset when the sky is not completely dark. When I took this image there was a light cloud cover which reduced the brightness of the moon a bit. I clocked that it takes about 20 sec for a car to go past the frame. So the exposure was set to 20s in shutter speed priority. Thanks for your comments. #3474Jean Papo May 26, 2019
