My favorite granite beaches are in Maine, and some of our favorite BPers, Jack & Monnie, should be there by now ~if all went well.

Thanks everyone! Great idea, Jeff. wouldn't that be cool to all be there when they're shooting a lighthouse. Those of us they wouldn't recognize could casually walk by and say, "Hi, Jack. Monnie," and keep going. Or we could setup a lighthouse we know they will be visiting with huge banners saying, "Welcome, Jack Ryan, The Lighthouse Photography King, and Monnie Ryan, the Flower Macro Queen." That would be fun.

Yes, Ron, I hope to see them a short while as they pass through this area on their way home. It won't be as much fun, but you're all welcome. #8892347

Oh, man, I just wish we could all be there. Makes me salivate and makes my camera trigger finger jerk just thinking about it. Apparently they're there safely and having good weather. Saw a pic up from Monnie from the trip just a bit ago. Oh, and before I forget it, this is a spectacular scene you've got here. Light, color, perspective, detail--got it all, it does. #8892509
