My favorite granite beaches are in Maine, and some of our favorite BPers, Jack & Monnie, should be there by now ~if all went well.

Lovely Maine capture Marty! I hope Jack and Monnie have a great time and snag some wonderful captures like this!! #8889930Marty Straub September 10, 2010
Thanks everyone! Great idea, Jeff. wouldn't that be cool to all be there when they're shooting a lighthouse. Those of us they wouldn't recognize could casually walk by and say, "Hi, Jack. Monnie," and keep going. Or we could setup a lighthouse we know they will be visiting with huge banners saying, "Welcome, Jack Ryan, The Lighthouse Photography King, and Monnie Ryan, the Flower Macro Queen." That would be fun.Yes, Ron, I hope to see them a short while as they pass through this area on their way home. It won't be as much fun, but you're all welcome. #8892347

Oh, man, I just wish we could all be there. Makes me salivate and makes my camera trigger finger jerk just thinking about it. Apparently they're there safely and having good weather. Saw a pic up from Monnie from the trip just a bit ago. Oh, and before I forget it, this is a spectacular scene you've got here. Light, color, perspective, detail--got it all, it does. #8892509Ellen Hodges September 10, 2010
