THE MAKING OF 'Backwater Explorer':

Bored at home and just itchin' for some photography I took advantage of the wonderful bleak, grey, cloudy weather and headed off on another solo safari to my most lucrative - photographically) - location to hopefully add more photographs to my Lake Cathie Pride series.
Photographer's luck was with me this day as when I pulled up at the water's edge I spotted the canoeist heading up into the channel. Knowing it was a dead end with only one entrance I played the waiting game shooting the odd Pelican and Duck until the man emerged from his exploration.
Sure enough he finally paddled slowly into view for a good shot and headed my way. We had a chat, exchanged pleasantries, I gave him my card and we parted as friends. That night after I processed the photograph I emailed him the copy he requested and links to the series and calendar here on RB. Who knows?

Enjoy!
