Fiery Flower
Uploaded: August 04, 2010
Thanks for your reception of yesterday's efforts. One more. I moved this day lily from the side of the house to the front and one of its petals fell off giving this cross-section opportunity so I shot it. Fooling around with the Fractalius filter I came up with this firey version. Wierd thing is the next day the lily had closed the gap. Nature is very cool, n'est-ce pas?
Again if anyone would like the setting for the filter, let me know.

I just don't have the courage to venture out yet. I have to stay home I guess to do that LOL. #8806581Kitty R. Rodehorst-Hanna August 04, 2010

Excellent work with the frac, mon ami! You started out with some wonderful dof, light and color and ended up with a stunner of a capture. Play! play!! And have fun!! #8808041Mitch Spence August 12, 2010
That's an "electrifying" use of the filter, Marty. Restrained yet dramatic. And of course you started with a beautifully framed and exposed image and excellent use of light. #8822844Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
