Flowers For The Trio

Uploaded: July 12, 2010

Description

Arches National Park, Utah
Seems like we humans always want to name the rocks and natural landmarks. The "trio" here refers to what I named The Three Amigos. More on them later, but they are seen here at the top of the rock.

Agree with Dianna, the warm desert glow and earthy colors of this capture are just splendid. How nice of the flowers to add their tribute to the Three Amigos by blooming at the precise day you were there to add their burst of color to your glorious capture. (Cool circular patch of clouds right over the opening of the rock formation on the right and perfectly placed...hmmmm - bet that was planned for the right shooting moment!! :) #8751148

Love your composition and POV here, Marty! Arches has so many unusual features and your capture of this one is excellent! I like your Three Amigos but being human..lol..the first thing I thought was The Three Wise Men when seeing them for the first time. I'm guessing a close up is coming... #8754621
