Description

This would have been a better photo if taken a few weeks earlier when the flowers looked fresher; but for us it was when we were there, and stands as a pleasent reminder of the excitement the next 8 days would bring.

(I'll keep your offer in mind, Marty!) Again, a beautiful lead-in to some incredible scenery with the flowers placed perfectly and the well-worn red-earthed path leading us right into the heart of this photo. The colors are so deep, the capture so perfect, I have goosebumps. Someday. Until then, seeing it thru your eyes is sheer pleasure! #8698641

Very well composed, Marty! This would have been a winner, had you been there a little earlier. I managed to be there the right time for the Mule Ears this year, but unfortunately we had a lot of strong winds part of the week. You got a beautiful sky in your capture! #8699185
