Very good composition. The rule of thirds is in play here. And just enough of the foreground to give depth. Lighting is excellent too. However, the image is quite grainy. I like this quite a bit though. Nice going. #2434

Yes, the image is grainy, and originally - I didn't scan this at all and yet, this image has won more prizes and received more comments than any other image I have - someone who commented on it said that emotion overcomes technical flaws and I don't believe with the contrasts, film and the temperature at which this was shot, it could have been any other way - except with print film. Don't get me wrong, I agree with you about the grainy ness and yet, the emotional reaction is there. #3899
