A sole Pelecanus conspicillatus (Australian Pelican) drifts slowly across the still, dark, shallow water of a peaceful backwater on a lazy autumn afternoon.
This calming B&W nature photograph was made from the southern shore of Lake Cathie, NSW, Australia.
Canon EOS D60 & Canon USM 100-300mm Lens: RAW, Manual settings of f/6.7 @ 1/500sec, 240mm, ISO 100, Hand held.
Lightroom 2.2 & Photoshop CS3.
