About Anne E. Ely
I am an amateur photographer who just has fun doing photography. I do most of my work with an 18-400mm Tamron lens on a Nikon D7100 camera. Occasionally I use a 150-500 Sigma lens. Ninety nine percent of my photography is related to nature. I love capturing a moment in time… a singing bird, a cascading waterfall, or even an insect on a flower… and then being able to view that moment again and again. Since I try to identify whatever it is I’ve photographed, it has greatly expanded my knowledge and understanding of many things. To photograph a tiny part of nature in this vast world outside my door gives me much pleasure, as does being able to share some of these moments with others through my images.
