Thanks for the kind comments... Here is a breakdown of how the image was created: 1. Original Photo shot with telephoto lens to put a soft wash of color behind the dogwood using a Tony Sweet Singh-Ray Soft-Ray Diffuser. 2. Adjusted in Lightroon and brought into Photoshop CS3. 3. Curves layer with Luminosity blend mode to remove some contrast. 4 Fractalius filter, Sketch BW 01 adjusted to soften edges applied with Luminosity blend mode. 5. Curves layer clipped to the Fractalius layer to adjust contrast and color. 6. Levels layer next to bring up the color. 7. Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0 Tonal Contrast filter to further adjust contrast. Some of these were applied globally and some locally to the image. Thanks again for the comments...
