You continue to make me proud to be your son!

But, I must ask... Were you hanging from the celing to take that picture. And, at your age... is that safe?

:)

Steve

It looks nice when you have the red up against the white and black background. This picture shows the true depth of the surronding objects.

It is very calm and peaceful. But, it seems like the tomato is about to fall off the shelf into a black abyss.

I think that the angle at which the tomato picture was taken is interesting. Also I feel like the sun symbolizes the good of the world beaming in to create life.

I'm your son's student. I love the picture. The angle is great and I enjoy how everything is black and white except for the tomato. It really captures its essence. Great job!

I see a tomato on a windowsill (insightful, I know). The brightness of the red in contrast to the dark of the windowsill calls your attention to the tomato. Congrats on a photo well taken, Mr. Isaac's Dad!

how did you get that picture?! were you haning from the ceiling or something? I really thought that was a cool picture- the light balance was perfect and the tomato(or orange as I tend to call them)was a perfect center for the photo. I hope I can be a trapeeze artist, like you must be, and take pictures as a well as you do, Mr Isaac's Dad. Abyss

It looks pretty nifty, but I don't get it. What is the point of the picture? It looks like an abstract drawing which is cool.

I think this picture is REALLY cool becuagdfdfgdse it makes you focus on the only colored thing in the picture, the tomatoe. The Angle you took it at Ed was really really really awesome becuase I havent seen many pictures like that. CONGRATS ON WINNING!!!!

I like the picture because there is a good color contrast between the black, red, and white. It gets your attention because you dont know what it is at first.

I liked this picture because it brings out the contrast between the red and the black and white. The red makes you think about it, and why it is there. I like it because it draws your attention to the red and you wonder why it is sitting on the window sill and what the point of putting it there was.

I'm so glad I arrived late and had the opportunity to read all these fun and fascinating analyses of your work Ed! Everyone should have the benefit of such terrific critiques! I wondered myself about what you were hanging from to get this shot... but decided it doesn't matter! It's a fabulous perspective on a tomato! Congratulations!

As you can figure out, Pat, my son teaches computer science in Junior High. The current segment is digital photography, so the timing was perfect. Before long we'll probably see a whole new batch of galleries. At any rate, glad you liked my tomato shot. And thanks for commenting. Ed

Wow! This is such a great picture...I really like the angle that is projected and the shadow of the day.i think this a great picture of an ordinary apple. It makes the apple look "alive" and not just an "ordinary apple."
