Thank you all, for your very kind comments. Shirley: This was shot about an hour after sunset. Nikon D70, 10 seconds @ f/7.9, Sigma 17-70 @ 24mm, ISO 200. It was shot from a bridge, crossing the roadway.

You must have been in Emilie's class with me in Charlotte. Too funny. Mine is a little closer cropped, but not much. See great mines think alike.

"Big Congrats, Cliff! Been there too." Greg: Yes, this seems to be a popular spot for shots of Charlotte. Actually, it seems to be one of the few good vantage points for shots of Charlotte's skyline. I looked at your gallery, and noticed your shot, from this spot, with the moon added. I did the same thing to a similar shot.
