1/100 f3.5 ISO 800. Had to boost the settings because of the approaching storm and it was getting dark. Played around in Photoshop to achieve this look. I don't have any idea why this car was on it's side like this......

I like it Sherry, it's on it's side because the running gear, axels, drive shaft have been taken off.

Oh...... well, Greg, you know me, I don't know that much about the cars. I just like to shoot them. I am trying to learn more about them, though.

Thank you, Lorri for the nice comment on this image. It is quite dramatic. The day we shot was very stormy so I guess it fits the weather conditions that day. Thanks for telling me you saw it in Editor's Picks. I didn't know it was there.

Sherry, great B&W and the effects are perfect! Strange they left it on its side, but I will take Greg's word for it why.

I forgot to mention...I thought maybe because it's a FORD! LOL (My hubby would kill me...he is a Ford guy and works at a Ford dealership!) I have always owned Chevys or Pontiacs!

Hi Carol. Thanks for the comments on this image. Greg has shot at this location many times and he told me that the car had been turned on it's side and those parts stripped. I love the old cars and trucks, but don't know much about the parts, models and years. I'm trying to learn more about them. In fact, I didn't make up this name. 'Fordomatic' is on the car. I had never heard that name before.

Sherry, I have never heard of Fordomatic either! I will have to show my hubby and ask him if he has.

Hi Carol, the name Fordomatic is on the right side of the trunk. My husband said it is from a '52 to '56 model, but not sure exactly. I'm attaching a pic. of the name.
