Thanks to you all for the kind comments. For those of are interested, here is the link that I used to learn how to do the Orton Technique. http://www.naturephotographers.net/articles0106/dw0106-1.html It started out as a slide special effect by it lends itself well to digital. This link is for Photoshop but I think users of other software could figure out how to use it fairly easy. It is easy to do (after the first couple of times). Again thanks for the supportive comments and good luck with your Orton attempts. Ron
