Cesar: You certainly achieved your goal. We all are tempted to find the most colorful flower (rose, etc.) to photograph. After a while, we see too many rose, etc. photos. It's great to see a photographer go beyond the norm, to photograph less obviously striking subject matter and do such a great job in setup and composition. A black background is not always ideal in nature photography, but it's perfect here, because this is a portrait of the species. As Kathleen says, ...
