Wow! Great capture, I like the light on this one and how it outlines the fox!!! How close or far away were you?

Jeff...Nicely "caught". I had one of these come into my timeshare in Breckenridge a few years back looking for a piece of steak. Yes, I got a shot but just a shot...not an image like this beauty. Love the backlighting. You can never beat a backlit image!

Love it Jeff. What Jeff didn't mention is that while we were shooting this guy, we lost sight of him for awhile as we shot images behind us.

When we turned around he was sitting on the road about ten feet from us, checking us out. As we both tried to grab a shot, he was off and running so only caught his back side.

Very fun! I wonder what poor creature he pounced on!

Quite an amazing capture Jeff – from the thumbnail I thought this was a cat. Love the back lighting and being able to see that hint of red in his coat. Nicely done.

Thanks, everyone! I'm really pleased with how this one turned out.

Here's a shot of the fox on the road. This was when he was pretending he hadn't been looking at us, right before he took off running.
