Really beautiful Shawn! Congrats on the POTD! This isn't from this year is it? I just wouldn't expect the leaves to be on the trees at this time of the year, but maybe I am wrong. Carol - This image was taken last spring in the Smokies, at the beginning of May. Normally the dogwoods and early blooming wildflowers & trees begin blooming in April. The spring green colors are normally in full force throughout May. I've not been to the Smokies yet this year, but from what I hear spring is a few weeks early this year as it is in most parts this way. #9320599
