Sheila this is really beautiful. The color and clarity are great. Might I suggest you look at this in a verticle crop of say 4x6, which would remove much of the empty space to the right and some of the left. I think it might just make a nice difference. Great shot!! #974120

What an awesome blue, and very clear bee. I love to be around the bee's and capture them. My camera just isn't fast enough to be this clear - or I haven't figured it out. WOW, I added your photo to my favorites. 8o) #6574326

Sheila, This is one of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen! The color of the flower and the perfection of the bee come together to make the most perfect photo. I'm certainly no expert when it comes to photos, but I know what I like and this is a stunning piece of work. My daughter was very impressed with it as well. Keep up the good work and congratulations on your win. We are not surprised by it! #6576709

Nancy Donnell October 10, 2008

Gosh, it is so hard to add something new. It is very beauriful, and a fantastic capture! Perhaps the other comments were right suggesting a different crop, but I found the extra space on the right to help balance the weight of the picture (for me) because there was quite a bit of busy design elemnt going on the left, and the calmness of the right also put the bee in the bingo spot for my eye as the center of interest. Loved it. And I did not know there was a blue salvia like that. Congrats! #6579984

Sheila D. Robertson October 10, 2008

Thank you Nancy. I cropped it several ways and this one suited my taste too. The gardener where I shot it told me it was a salvia, but a friend has suggested it is a penstemon. #6580018

Sheila, I must add to all the great compliments on your photo. It stands out. It caught my eye immediately. The colors of the flower and clarity of the bee make the picture, including the blurred background. I would love to know how you captured this shot. I think that it is preference to crop. I like the extra blurred background space. Great job.. Kim #6588927
